In today job market, local company should emphasis on retaining the competent employees instead of recruiting new.
The current tight labor market in Singapore is very challenging for owners of management company.
There are shortage of management and technical staff in countless estates.
Each employees has their own needs, goal and expectation. When their expectation and needs are met then employer will have the power to retain the employees.

- Easy Deployment to current or another site
- Internal Promotion to meet expectation
- Re-training to upgrade employees and to meet employer expectation
- Meeting the expectation of clients due to contractual obligation
- Build a stronger management team
- It serve as a live testimonial to other employees that the company cares
Generosity of employers and clients help in retaining valuable employees.
Promises are nothing without commitment and compromise!
Company may argue that they are in the business for the profit and expectation that to be able to make a profit in each project at all times is naive and irresponsible management. Company must be willing to be flexible and wanting to change to meet today's challenges.
When a company is not able to maintain sufficient staff to meet their obligation then you will find it difficult to have the abilities to hold on to your current project.

Clear Career Path by employer
Employer must have clear and transparent career path for those who has interest in moving up in corporate ladder.
Referral bonus must be generous to encourage more support from within the organisation.
A successful business must be work in progress for improvement and growth.

Recruitment became worst and many company operating without sufficient staffing.
No significant changes by recruiter today. Aggressive recruiting with same old attitude toward recruitment.
