How to work with Subsidiary Proprietor and their tenants under MCST


Subsidiary Proprietor transfers their right to enjoy the facilities in the estate when they rent out their property.  The tenant will be allows to enjoy all the facilities that come with their tenancy agreement.

Guideline:

·        Same as how SP should be treated
·        Follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/KeyPerformance Indicator (KPI)
·        Be a little flexible if it does not violate the rules and it help create harmonious living in the estates
·        Be a good listener
·        Be truthful and no fault promise
·        Say no and state your reason and support of your decision
·        Be fair
·        Educate them of their right and limitation
·        Tenant must have a copy of the by-law
·        Post and update your house rule when required on the notice board
·        Protect the right of tenant as it is the same as any SP


Additional Note:

Tenant can request to attend the council meeting and only speak when permit by the Chairman

Tenant has no voting right
